Letting Go reflects on the moment when beauty and impermanence meet. Inspired by a rose whose outermost petal seemed willing to release before the others, the painting considers transformation not as an ending, but as an opening. Here, bloom and fading coexist, revealing the quiet grace that emerges when we loosen our grip and allow life to unfold. What shifts when we notice the moment of release, rather than the moment of bloom?
Finished with a hand-applied archival varnish that imparts a rich, oil-like depth and a quiet, luminous sheen.
